Control Systems »

Control PanelAll of our Control Systems meet the requirements of BS 6173 and combine modern digital gas proving technology and reliable ventilation/gas interlocking connections in one clear, concise panel. By combining these features we can offer savings on initial capital cost and reduce the installation time.

The Control Panel employs a range of methods to ensure safe working practice is maintained at all times. Upon startup, the system detects drops in gas pressure caused by open appliances or possible gas leaks. A ventilation/gas interlock ensures the gas solenoid valve cannot be opened until any fans connected to the panel are operating, thereby protecting the kitchen users from harmful by-products of natural gas. The system will also shut off if the gas pressure drops below 12mb for more than 10 seconds (to prevent flames going out, unnoticed).

"We use tested & accredited fire suppression systems from Ansul® which can be optionally installed across our canopy range"

Detectors

We supply a range of natural gas, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide detectors for use in conjunction with the Control Panel. If a build up of gas is detected the alarm will sound and close the gas solenoid valve to prevent further gas leakage.

Heat Recovery Ventilation

We also offer a range of Heat Recovery solutions to ensure a fresh air supply and improved climate control of your working environment while also saving energy by reducing your heating (or cooling) requirements.

Fire SuppressionFire Suppression

The typical fire suppression system is designed for rapid flame knockdown and comes as a pre-engineered, wet chemical, cartridge operated, regulated pressure type with a fixed nozzle agent distribution network for maximum effect.

The Ansul® Fire Suppression Systems we use are ideal for protecting areas exposed to cooking equipment and potential fire including canopy hoods, ducts, plenums and filters; fryers; griddles and range tops; upright, natural charcoal or chain-type broilers; electric, lava rock, mesquite or gas-radiant char-broilers and woks.
