Our intelligent control system is used to regulate our X-Stream products and is capable of controlling fan operation, humidity, temperature, air-quality and CO² levels.

The wall mounted ABS plastic MID2012 controller unit can be installed within each heating/ventilation zone. The control unit has the capacity of controlling both underfloor heating and natural ventilation throughout any building to which they are installed. The system can be easily linked to most BMS systems via MODbus RTU or similar with controls wiring and final field commissioning being sought from one of our nominated controls specialists if required.

The MID2012 controller is factory pre-set with the following available functions:

• Temperature monitoring for both ventilation & heating control as standard
• CO² monitoring for occupied rooms (As optional extra)
• Wind/rain and external temperature monitoring controlling all actuators (Optional)
• Local damper over-ride function for purge ventilation via room mounted panel over-ride function
• Dead zone adjustment +or -4 degrees (or set from BEMS)
• Day/night mode
• Summer/winter setting modes
• Automated window actuator 0-10v control signals (Optional)
• Night-time cooling with frost protection
• Fan over-ride switching by room occupants
• Fire interlock signal to close actuators (Optional)
• Set point lock down and controls pre-set is to be provided via the MODbus BEMS link or alternatively for standalone systems via clear lockable hard case as an optional extra

Our X-Stream control components comprise of a possible combination of the following:

• MID2012 - Room mounted ABS plastic master H&V control panel c/w inbuilt temperature sensor and factory presets
• MID-HLS – ABS plastic underfloor heating only temperature controller
• MID2050-1 - Wiring centre (Power/Control of up to 1 actuator 12Va max // option to power a rain and CO² sensor)
• MID2050- 6 - Wiring centre (Power/control max. 6 actuators per zone 50Va max)
• MID-CO2 - Room mounted ABS plastic self calibrating carbon dioxide sensor
• MID-TIME – Standalone Digital time clock for timed summer night cooling and boost override
• MID-CRG - 240v – 12vDC mains battery charging unit
• MID-WTC – Solar time switch unit for timing of battery charging from mains power
• MID-EXT - Externally mounted temperature sensor (For use with BEMS)
• MID-RAIN - Externally mounted 24v heated Rain/Snow sensor
• MID-WRS - Roof mounted digital wind and rain sensor station (For use with BEMS)
• MID-LOCK – Clear lockable controller cover or Co2 cover c/w key and fixings

*MID-2050-6 wiring centre combinations include total control for heating valves per zone, roof terminals or wall mounted actuated devices (per MID2012 panel and Wiring centre per zone/area) or combinations of the above up to 50va total load. Normally window actuators will be provided with their own power supplies with 0-10v signals being provided from the MID2012 controller.

The MID2012 units in conjunction with MID-CO² sensors are factory preset to control underfloor heating, window/wall actuators and natural ventilation X-Stream stack terminals; however set points can be manually adjusted at each panel or set from most BEMS systems front end via MODbus RTU or similar with RS485 or TP cable connections. Integration with the nominated BEMS system is via MODbus RTU or similar, or alternatively can be set as stand-alone systems from each panel independently.
