X-Stream » X-Stream CROSSVENT (CSV)
The X-Stream CROSSVENT unit is a boxed GRP wall ventilation unit. The unit provides a naturally driven input ventilation rate based upon the corresponding flow rate of the internal X-Stream stack damper unit.
Crossvent damper units are commonly used in conjunction with other X-Stream or Windvent passive stack ventilation terminals as part of a whole building cross ventilation strategy or to minimize the amount of terminals required.
Crossvent units are very useful where room climatic conditions or external acoustic levels will not permit the opening of external façade windows. The units can be placed either at high level (above the window
line) or below window sills. Crossvents also work very well behind wall mounted radiators in the winter months to entrain warm 'fresh' air into the building space in close conjunction with room mounted temperature sensors and common heating relays.
Operation
X-Stream CROSSVENT works in conjunction with the Midtherm MID2012 master panel. The MID2012 gives the room occupant control of the X-Stream CROSSVENT units in conjunction with the buildings overall ventilation strategy.
