Chimneys

Manufacturing by Midtherm is carried out in accordance with systems complying with ISO 9001. Designs are prepared using programmes generated by our own engineers in order to enhance the service we offer to our clients. This allows for a rapid response to all aspects of design application ranging from foundation loading information through to chimney sizing and performance calculations.

Each project is uniquely assessed taking into consideration the specific application required, and accounting for individual client requirements. Steel fabrications are manufactured at one of our factories in the Midlands area, and occasionally we use our sister company Midtherm Flue Systems who also provide a quality service. However occasionally some specialist fabrications may be supplied from approved sub contractors.

Our complete design and installation package includes the following:

Chimneys -

• Chimneys to BS 4076 and corresponding international codes
• Chimney vibration dampers
• Pre-fabricated stainless steel chimneys and flues
• Two hour and four hour fire rated systems to BS 476:1987 for integrity and stability
• Flue support structures – Masts
• Chimney and duct silencers (noise absorbers)
• Chimney inspections and CCTV surveys
